Acoustic form
Designed specifically to resemble an acoustic violin, the layout of the bridge, tailpiece and neck are all in the same position as on an acoustic instrument. We have created the YSV104 to be as stress-free as possible when transitioning from acoustic violin to silent violin and back again thanks to the ability to use standard off-the-shelf Bridge-type shoulder rests. Proper bow angle and finger placement give beginners a solid foundation to grow from.

Control box
Support your practice wherever you play with the streamlined control box which comes with two reverb modes. 'Room' provides realistic room ambience that is designed for practice, while the 'Hall' setting simulates the deep, rich reverb of a concert hall. An external audio source can be connected to the control box for play-along practice.

Yamaha SRT Powered system
Thanks to the built-in Yamaha Studio Response Technology System (SRT), the YSV104 can faithfully reproduce the rich presence and tonal variety characteristics, which come from an acoustic violin. The left and right channel volume, frequency response and delay have all been optimised so that the user can play while hearing realistic acoustic tones and resonance via earphones.
