Stereo Clone Theory is a re-creation of the original 1970's Clone Theory known for its edgy chorus, but with stereo outputs. The Stereo Clone Theory's depth and rate controls swing from one extreme to the other, giving the user a wide range of tonal possibility. It is housed in a tough and compact die-cast chassis and comes with a 9V battery. An optional 9.6 VDC-200BI power supply is also available.
The Stereo Clone Theory features two Chorus modes and one Vibrato mode. In Chr 1 mode you can control the rate of modulation but the Depth is preset, whereas in Chr 2 mode you have full control of your chorus tone. In Vibr mode the dry voice is taken away, changing the effect from Chorus to Vibrato. The Rate Control adjusts the rate of modulation and the Depth Control adjusts its depth. There is a footswitch with LED indicator for engaging the unit or choosing True Bypass mode. In True Bypass, the input signal is connected directly to both the Main and Stereo output jacks.
