With the new Yamaha Storia III Chocolate Brown , the traditional Japanese manufacturer is adding a semi-solid lifestyle acoustic guitar with passive pickup system for versatile use to its versatile acoustic guitar range. Due to its compact construction consisting of a solid mahogany top and a laminated mahogany body , the guitar develops a warm and rich sound, which can unfold quickly and completely thanks to the wafer-thin finish . The flat Nato neck in combination with the walnut fretboard , a nut width of 43 mm and a short scale length of 634 mm ensures comfortable playability in all 20 frets . Golden open-gear tuners allow for precise tuning of the 6 steel strings , which, thanks to the meticulous workmanship of the finely notched urea nut and matching saddle , produce a clean intonation in all registers. The instrument is rounded off with a passive under-saddle pickup system , which makes the Yamaha Storia III Chocolate Brown not only a reliable companion on stage, but flexible as well.
