The Behringer ZMX8210 V2 Ultrazone professional 8-channel audio mixer is designed specifically for fixed installations and can distribute your music program and announcements to up to three zones (rooms). The ZMX8210 V2 is best suited for use in restaurants, offices, gyms and houses of worship.
With the ZMX8210, you can route up to 8 input signals to any or all 3 destinations. Perhaps you want to play stereo music for customers waiting in the lobby of your office complex, and page employees in the work area. Another example would be a small church that wants to play soft music in the foyer, mic the preacher in the sanctuary, and then broadcast the sermon and music to the nursery. These are all perfect applications for the ZMX8210 - multiple sound sources, multiple zones, total flexibility!
You can also set the ZMX8210 to automatically lower the volume of program music in certain zones during announcements. This feature is called "ducking" and allows the voice announcement to take precedence over the music program without completely turning off the music. This ensures that even the softest voice can be heard in the selected zone(s). As an added benefit, remote volume controls can be installed in areas where even more control is required.
Built-in phantom power allows you to use any microphone with the ZMX8210, including professional condenser mics. The 8 inputs feature high-quality mic preamps for absolutely pristine sound quality. A 4-band master equalizer ensures speech intelligibility and prevents possible feedback. And if you need more than 8 channels, two ZMX8210s can be linked together for a total of 16 inputs.
The intuitive control panel makes the ZMX8210 easy to use even for inexperienced users, and its professional features give you full control over your sound environment.
