Ibanez AW54JR-OPN Acoustic Guitar

Thanks to its compact mini dreadnought design, the Ibanez AW54JR-OPN from the Artwood Vintage series is excellent for use on the road and develops an amazingly powerful and warm sound due to its partially solid construction. The short neck also offers perfect access to all 20 frets. The AW54JR-OPN comes with a bag.

Construction and woods

To ensure that the compact guitar develops every note with a fast response, the top is made of solid okoume, which in combination with X-bracing and a matte finish provides a very strong vibration behavior. Back and sides are made of laminated okoume and complement the sound with a pleasant warmth. At the same time the short Nyatoh neck with an Ovangkol fingerboard guarantees an easy grip of the 6 steel strings. To round off the playability perfectly, an armrest is built into the rib.

Design and Hardware

Open tuners allow precise tuning of the strings and accentuate the simple, timeless appearance of the instrument in a very tasteful way. A compensated bridge inlay and a 43 mm wide nut ensure clean intonation over the entire scale length of 607 mm.
